Some info on the minerals:

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT SILK PROTEIN

Why did I received the Silk Protein hardened?
For silk to work on our skin and hair, it have to be hydrolyzed. Hydrolyzed powder contact with minimal amount of water vapour will hardened. To keep Silk Protein powdery, store it in Freezer compartment.

Does hardened Silk Protein still works?
Yes it work, afterall you still have to dissolve the powder into the liquid shampoo/shower. Its functionality is not altered at all, it just take a few more mins compared to powder form to dissolve.

Why does Silk protein works?
When hair is damaged, the protein layer would not be sufficient to do fast self-repair. Silk Protein will form a crystalised bond on the surface, protecting the hair and skin from external damage, allowing the internal to start repairing works. Silk protein is found to be reflecting UV rays plus its an moisturizing protein.

How does Silk protein compare with conditioner?
Our Silk protein has no other ingredient, its purely Silk Protein. Many shampoo in the market have protein added, and for ingredient listing, usually the 1st 7 ingredient of the shampoo would form the main portion of the shampoo content. If you find the protein is listed further from the front listing, it means the % of usage is not very high. By adding your own Silk Protein, you have created a moisturizing product to be use. Silk protein is not oil base, and thus it will not clog pores or follicles.

Why must we wait for 10 seconds before rinsing?
Like conditioner, Silk protein need time to bond with hair and skin. You can see and feel the difference when you have added sufficient Silk Protein. Some would be able to tell your hair look "coated" but it does not feel like wax, Silk protein bonding is not waxed feel, it is crystalized.

Why is there not a fix formulation and always stated as start off with 1 teaspoon for every 200ml shampoo?
Each shampoo is made with different formula, so its not possible to use the same proportion. We recommend starting with 1 teaspoon Silk protein with every 200ml, and you have to add more till result is satisfactory. Most shampoo need 2-4 teaspoon per 200ml.

Is there a maximum?
Yes and NO. Yes because as you mix when result is satisfactory for you, you should STOP adding else its wasted. NO because you can actually do Silk protein NEAR on your hair as hair mask. Just mix 2 teaspoon of Silk Protein with a little water, apply on hair and your hair will be soft and silky in 10mins treatment when you rinse off.

Is there an expiry date?
No. Silk protein do not come with expiry date. It is made from core of the Silk yarn.
