Genting Here we comes!!!

YEah....tonite need to pack up for Genting Trip! Seems like alot to pack esp the milk powder and diaper and ah Phael clothings!!! Alamak!! so many things to do!!

Ben always say I am always in a mad rush a day before going on trip...as some known sources will pay for my trip... (ahem...shall not elaborate further here...)

So happy! This trip for myself is paid for including the expenses if I see it this way!!!

Another deal came in lor!! yeah yeah.. Hip Hip Hooray!!

Money Money Money...

Haiz...who will have enough money to spend? who dun like to have spare cash with them....

Find that this had been a very taxing and at times irritating issues... We spend what we earn, not overspend and burst the budget we have for the month, thinking miracle can happen, money will drop from the sky...

Monetary issues always recurred at a very irritating and persistent way... Why cant we spend according to our own limits? Why must we try our luck in 4D, ToTo, Casinos?

If such ways are meant to keep anyone rich, that fellow had to be filthy rich in the first place...

As the sayings goes, the rich will get richer, the poor will get poorer....

Anyway...Even if i have spare cash, it will not be for loan anymore... I also need money for my personal use...

Bras

Got to buy new one as I advanced into later stage of pregnancy... Maidenform bras are very comfortable and I can say is relatively cheaper than local brands like Wacoal or Triumph...

As usual there is sale and each piece is now 10USD after discount... So converting and adding shipping shld be around 20bucks per piece which I find it is still cheap given the quality n design!

Ok...lets countdown...4-6 weeks before they will reached me!

Tummy @ Week 22

Since I am updating my personal blog..might as well update our newbie's one too with the below picture

My Tummy @ Week 22

This is my tummy as of week 22... Seems big to me... but anyway...I keep telling myself I am halfway thru..in fact more than halfway past the mark lor...


Another 18 weeks or so..I be relaxing at home... with 2 kids!!
I always wonder..how am I going to cope with 1 active toddler, 1 newborn in few months time...

Really no idea... Will try to let Ben handle the newborn..let them bond and I will handle my ah phael...
My weight as usual is increasing week by week... haiz...give up liao..as long as no gestational diabetes, no high blood pressure... I gain abit of weight is ok...

2 consecutive cramp within a day!!

Aiyo.. It started all over again... Thought I will experienced the leg cramp much later... But who knows it happens!!

Was woken up by the first cramp at 5am and was in pain.
Dare not moved too much for fear of making it worst!!!

Luckily it was over within 10mins... Went back to sleep with a sore leg

Then next attack was at 10am!!! This time at right leg!!!

It was damn bad!!!!

Raphael 28months old...

Holiday Reimbursement is reinstated!!

Yeah!! The holiday reimbursement had been reinstated after much wait! *Clap clap*

Have check that we can use the $ for local hotel/chalet stay.... So meaning the money can be put aside for our Hard Rock Hotel stay!!! Yippie!!!

But tricky part is the receipt must be based on 1 person name and single sharing basis...So... to claim in full... something need to be done...

But most likely I will "cash out" the benefits using my Genting Receipt first in event any changes or suspension to this benefits...Well, Management always change their mind...so its best to claim the benefits before any changes is made!!!

Nothing much is changed just better benefits for old birds in the company... Will be claiming my optical claim and other benefits before I go for my Maternity leave!! Wohooo

IPhone 4...

Had been looking forward to getting this Iphone4 since the day it was launched..Or rather I should say I been looking forward to a better faster phone after I got my Iphone 3G...

The time had come..finally my contract is @21month, whereby I can recontract and get a brand new phone.

Will still be getting the same old Apple phone but with faster OS, more functions (Video recording and uploading been something I always wanted!!)

Finally the day had come!! We will be going to Q up and hopefully land ourselves with this IPhone which Singtel is always OOS!!!!

Was telling Benji that by December I still cannot get due to shortage in Singtel..I will switch provider to M1... Hmph!!

Lets see....

Gained 3+ Kg!!!!

This pregnancy I think my weight gain very steady...keep gaining weight....despite the fact that I had morning sickness hahaa.....

After my detailed scanned, I am now officially less than 19 weeks to go..still a boy, 413grams as at 20week scan

So far the changes in me is that the tummy getting bigger...hmmm...more tired...

Really looking forward to having a long rest from work..which is sometimes frustrating and sad to say...unfair at times...
People have different treatment n privileges...What someone did wrongly may not be a fault or error to someone else eyes...

What someone did supposingly correct may not be correct to someone else eyes.... What was done 6months ago may still be something FRESH in someone else mind!!!

Whatever was done was done... But some pple just bringing it up and this is getting on my nerves

What had the world become to? Taking sides, showing favourism? Keeping pets? Just becoz someone works longer in the company doesnt mean they can shirk all responsibilities and sit there right?

I give up...End of the day, my pay is in on time, I get to spend on my stuffs and pamper my family...I am fine...

No point being so on the ball, unappreciated...Just be happy and go on maternity leave in 4months time!

Something to look forward to...

Yesterday was sharing with Shara on the low placenta possibility which bugs me for a week...

In my detailed scan Ah Kek mentioned my placenta is slightly low and may have to go for c-sect if by 32 weeks it doesnt go up... Arrrh...Devasting news... maybe she is trying to paint the worst case scenario...

But whatever she tell me later doesnt change the fear growing in me...


Dear fren Shara really managed to cheer me up by saying maybe from week 32 I be given bed rest if I am really diagnosed with low placenta and high risk of bleeding!..*hope not as I hope for a natural birth and pray for smooth delivery*

That makes 16 weeks + a possible 4-8 weeks of hospitalisation leave...WOW! 5months!!!!!!

She also say that alot of unforeseen circumstances may arised in pregnancy like breech baby, prematured, heavy bleeding..most importantly is still the end product : the baby... 

She told me c sect is not as bad as I think as she cant feel any pain during the cut cut part..just the after effect is like shit...hmmm......

Stunned...

Can u imagine spending 10k without knowing?

I just realised thru my deep calculation today that I had spend 10k within month of March - Sept without realising!!! a span of 6+months, omg...

I think that I am lucky that I have such spare cash...else... think my life still do-able and live-able..

just that without the luxury of going Phuket, Genting, Hard Rock hotel stay, going restaurant almost weekly...blah blah blah

Tabulated out the possible places my money had gone to... I tink major part went to restaurant and spee and daily expenses...

Haiz...time to start to save up for #2 liao...End of the day, my conclusion is I cannot do without a job! hahaa

Reading.......

After 3 years..i finally found time to read again..since i started my studies, any spare time will be spend "worrying" about exams and lesson..i will feel guilty whenever i read anything outside work or school..with 11 out of 12 modules cleared this year, i can finally "reward" myself with a book that i love to read and not NEED to read..the book that I am reading now is "too big to fail" by Andrew Ross Sorkin..its an insightful view into the events leading up to the 2008 debt crisis..this crisis meant alot to me personally, although not financially..i didnt lose my job during this crisis..but instead i got a "new" job haha..

Nomura bought over Lehman outside US..and my life has been turned upside down from the day the firms merge..new colleagues, new culture, new work scope..alot of what ifs in my head..what if lehman didnt collapse? what if  Nomura didnt buy over Lehman Asia?

Hope reading this book will provide some answers to some questions lingering in my head..not WHAT IF..but WHY they fails..

Lim Koon's Wedding @ Grand Hyatt - 16-Sep 2010

We had a very sumptuous wedding dinner at Grand Hyatt, invited by my colleague Lim Koon.
I must comment that the food is really nice... the cold dish is also yummy...with a coffee like chicken...its yummy, and some sushi


usually I do not finish all the sharks fin as some are abit lumpy, or not flavourful enough(though some commented its abit salty..but it suits my taste bud well!!) thumb up for the great starter


then roast chicken is also delicious...just superb!! hoho... followed by the noodles which is surprisingly not bad which i thought it dont look good
the dessert is also nice...overall will give the food here 9.5/10
The highlight of the wedding dinner was actually one of my colleague getting super high n drunk after challenging the fellow pple on table to drink...


hehe.. must admit with his presence, the whole wedding dinner became so lively and interesting and at times worrying for his safety..
normally in a sit down table dinner most pple will be talking among themselves, but this time round...i think all of us were busy with him...

Week 20 Detailed Scanned Checkup

Sat we went for Checkup and as usual, Raphael woke up super early around 7++am...

The checkup was fine, with Dr Kek saying the lungs look ok, the heart is with 4 chambers, blood flow to n fro of the heart is good, the bones in arms, thighs and legs are fine...the spine is good...the brains are well...the eyes sockets are there, with the eyeballs, the lips are fine, nose high, still a BOY...haha

the boy is tall, 413grams at week 20!!

well..she really know my secret wish that it will change to a girl...before i got a chance to ask her or decided to ask her..she already went to show me the part... ok lor...

one comment she highlighted to me really disturbed me alot... that the placenta looks low and if this goes on for the 32weeks scan, we may have to go to c-section...but the placenta may slow goes up as the womb stretches itself over the next 12 week....so there is nothing i can do to change it..becoz this is how and where the eggg was being implanted.... hmm...also have nothing to do with carrying our Darling Raphael...

i went to google about this placenta low and find that this is not so alarming before week 28 when the gynae highlight it to u....as its still early to worry as the womb may stretch and move up...so still have chance to have natural birth later on..

but the complications later on if the placenta is still low is may have bleeding occurring and also may have premature birth..waaah...the more i google the more worried i am...

just hope that it will move up and i can go for natural birth..which will heal faster..the thought of being cut up is so eerie and scary... YUCKS!!!

64kg @ Week 20!

Its abit depressing with the weighing scale registering a heavier and heavier me...

But on lighter note, I am into the 20th week and halfway thru!

Will be going to see Dr Kek this Sat and look forward to this detailed scan.

So far the morning sickness was gone almost..why almost? At times I do feel like vomitting... But most of the times I am fine..just that the urge to pee is always there...Sian... I can go toilet every hour.... abit tiring especially in office as toilet is so far away!! hahaa

20 more weeks to go...Will HE come out in 5th Feb? 4th Feb? Not sure yet.. Lets See!

California Baby Crazy Spree

Errr... I think I have not much reasons to spend so much again for this California baby products... But my strong support is that Raphael had sensitive skin and is prone to rashes etc...

hehehee...so all along we do not use J&J despite he is now 28 Months old.. =D

Ok lar..this is the best part of a working mother with spending power....

Got 2 bottles of Bubbles bath, 2 bottles of Calming Shampoo and body wash, Desitin and Calendula Cream for my Darling...The loots be here anytime!!!! Thanks to Jgal... heheee

When u have such a cute boy, lovable and soooo adorable.... I believed u will not stopped spending money on him....

This is my weakest point and this is also why I am always broke...Do not come to me to borrow money coz I had hardly enough as I am always spreeing for Raphael!!

Genting Trip Booked!!!

After so long, the Genting trip is finally booked!

Though this is a die die must go trip (because of the concert tickets I had purchased for the Jeff Chang Concert)... alot of uncertainities still there... who is going, who is not going....

Who not going if who is not going..OMG!!! giving me numerous headache...

It all started with a "harmless comment"...and hurt a "fragile" heart...
Hopefully my ticket will not be bought in vain...and hope my Dad will joined me... to celebrate his birthday in Genting!!

Lucky thing is that there is this in house promo whereby we get additional $10 off the package which is only $133 for 3D2N!! heheee...

One highlight is my Small uncle, YES, our Favourite UNCLE is joining us (Not forgeting recently Raphael Seems to missed this uncle alot..always ask my mum to bring him take a cab to find "Lao Gu".... hmmm..not sure why he likes him so mucheee)

Probably this is the last trip which I be going before I delivered in Feb 2011... Unless I can squeeze in some Cruise vacation or local hotel getaway... =)

Baby Movement @ Week 17!!

The movement of the little boy is much more distinct and easier to identify lor!
In fact I start to feel the slight kick in my tummy after the scan @ week 16, then on week 17, seems like the kick is much more stronger...either he is having hiccups or kicking me?

Not very sure but this is surely something worth happy about..at least he is getting bigger day by day!

Even right now when I am typing away, I can feel the occassionally kick...heheee...

My darling!

Sometimes I tell myself to leave Raphael at my Mum's place so that I could get a good rest, but recently the urge to put him overnight is decreasing as he is much more sensible and know how to get things done through his way

He will says “没有人陪我了，我自几玩”....
or he will says "Mummy 不要抱 Ah Phael 了"....

Abit hard to reject his simple requests at times...I will still carry him as long as am able to... =)

Phuket Trip

It was a very fun and well organised trip...with transport planned for, hotel book at a special corporate rate and nearby to shopping center.. Thanks Doris for the help in coordinating!!

Simply love this trip..

Luckily i bring along my mum and sis and they helped out to take care of my little terror Raphael..Else I think be more xiong in terms of carrying this sticky little boy who is 15.5kg as of Phuket trip..

I had to sling him most of the time as he seems to be increasingly need my attention...



The room is very spacious, with a king size bed, big sofa, see through toilet+shower room!!! hhaaaaa..this is something very surprising to me! Luckily we have a blind whereby we can roll down to have some privacy when needed...



Hmm...The first day when we reached, went out for some grocery shopping and then swimming and dinner... not much shopping..

Aiyo...i was  having quite bad LS on first 2 days... avg ard 8 times for first day....sob...2nd day no much better but bearable...



2nd day we went for a city tour... went to t shirt warehouse(where ben buy a couple of tees), cashew nut factory...honey factory, Central festive market where we really buy alot there..Wohoo!

Raphael really enjoyed swimming in the pool! he claims that he is using superman to be in water



3rd day came the news that our flight be delayed by 2 hours..which means we can only board the plane at past midnite...Arrrg.... abit sian but no choice..budget air mah...

the air plane experience wasnt too good for myself as halfway thru the flight, i find my right side teeth n cheek in pain...aiyo...luckily it went off within 10mins..but it was so scary for me...

then when we touched down, i felt my phelgm running up n down my throat and nose...aiyo... lol..so many problems...all these while, Raphael was sleeping soundly! hahaaa

Naraya Craze

Look at all the bags above..hahaa...somehow..to compensate not having a girl...i somehow seems to like something pink leh...but hor...its cheap lar..and its somehow abit water proof...so i can put some diaper stuff in my bag...yeah!!!

I didnt see all these in Phuket leh...nvm lar...pay a few dollars more..but the designs are something i like =)
